Electronic Arts (EA) have announced more details of the much anticipated FIFA 2008, the next offering from the long running and highly successful FIFA branded football stable. After considering the details released it seems that the 2008 game will be head and shoulders above all that has gone before. The game takes in 620 licensed teams, 30 leagues and over 15,000 players (with all of your favourites covered).
This next version of this classic promises to be even more interactive and "real life" than ever before, with an amazing "35 point" decision engine included, allowing more in game animation and game play. This version of the game will also include a much improved artificial intelligence element, allowing each player to learn and adapt to their surroundings.
EA have also introduced a new "Be A Pro" section which allows you to control a single player, build up their skills and attempt to take them to the top of the game. The game play promises to be excellent, and the graphics and sound have been improved for earlier releases.
While every past version of FIFA has been an improvement on the last, if FIFA 2008 can deliver what has been promised, this should take the game play onto a new and much higher level. Let the battle commence!
