Taking advantage of the convenience of placing phone calls through the Internet is continually growing in popularity – and for good reason.  By using an Internet phone such as the Tesco FF128, you can make phone calls that are crisp and clear but far less expensive than when using a traditional landline phone.  In fact, the calls sound just as good as when you use your landline but, since you are making the call over the Internet, you don’t have to pay those same landline fees.

There is no doubt about it, using an Internet phone such as the Tesco FF128 is the cheapest way to make phone calls.  Even better, it makes it possible for you to add a second phone line to your home without having to actually pay for line rental, engineers, or contacts in order to get the second line up and running.

With the Tesco FF128, you only have to pay for the calls that you make  This helps put you in control of the expenses and makes it easier for you to keep track of your home phone bill.

Although you will need to keep your computer on in order to receive phone calls, any calls made to your Tesco FF128 while your computer is off will go to your voicemail.  Then, when you are ready, you can turn on your computer and listen to your voicemail messages for no extra charge.  Best of all, you will still be able to use the Internet and other computer applications while you are using your Tesco FF128.

If you have a dial-up connection, you can still use your Tesco FF128, though the quality of the call may not be as great as if you used a high speed connection. In addition, you may have difficulty with completing other computer applications. Furthermore, you don’t enjoy the convenience of having a second line and you cannot browse the Internet when you use dial up with your Tesco FF128.

Getting started with your Tesco FF128 is quite simple.  You will need to install the proper software and register with Tesco, which will generate a number for your phone.  You will then need to plug your phone into the USB socket and you will be ready to go.

The Tesco FF128 does not include a built-in computer or Bluetooth capabilities.  It also does not include backlight illumination.  It also does not have Ethernet capabilities or display calling numbers.  In addition, it does not have polyphonic ringtones or video phone capabilities.  It is cordless, however, which helps make it more convenient to use so you can use it throughout the entire house or even outside.

In addition, you can create an address book with the Tesco FF128.  This phone book can be displayed on both your phone and on your computer.  Furthermore, the free voicemail system is completely customisable and you can choose to reroute your calls to your mobile phone if you are away from your computer.

Although the Tesco FF128 does not have a great deal of extras, it meets the basic needs of someone looking for an Internet phone.  In addition, with its cordless set up, it is quite convenient for everyone in the family to use.
