After achieving much hype and success with the launch of its HTC Diamond, HTC finally released the HTC Touch Diamond 2 on April 2009. Also known as the HTC Warhawk for AT&T the HTC Touch Diamond 2 has dimensions of 107.9 x 53.1 x 13.7 mm, weighs 117.5 grams and is available in available in the shade of Black. The HTC Diamond 2 has a 3.2 inch TFT resistive touchscreen capable of displaying 65K colors at a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Along with its amazing touchscreen the HTC Touch Diamond 2 supports TouchFLO 3D finger swipe navigation as well as handwriting recognition.

The HTC Diamond Touch 2 operates on Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system powered with the help of a powerful Qualcomm MSM7200A 528 MHz processor. This enables smooth performance and prevents the phone from hanging frequently. The rear panel of this Diamond 2 is flat as compared to its first edition which was carved at the rear. Also featured at the rear of the Diamond 2 is a 5 Mega Pixel camera. Although the camera quality is not as good as the quality than that of its competitors, however the Diamond 2 features some crucial software tweaks that not only helps it capture good images in different lighting condition but also helps it capture images quickly. The Diamond 2 is capable of capturing images at a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels and also features autofocus.

Equipped with Wi-Fi, 3G, EDGE and with the features mentioned above, the HTC Diamond 2 certainly offers all Touchscreen fans something to cheer for.
