Microsoft has announced that it’s much anticipated Windows 7 operating system is going to be available before its initial release date of 2010.

Microsoft came forward on Tuesday, and declared that the system will be available as off 22nd October 2009. There will be some delays as different regions will gain the capacity to use the system one by one. This is a smart move by Microsoft who has excited Windows users by bringing the release forward, but also good for the retailers with the system on shelves in time for the Christmas shopping season.

Vista, the previous system released by Microsoft has been very unpopular and opened the market to other manufacturers to steer users of the plagued system away from Microsoft. The new Windows 7 will replace this old Vista system. Industry sources are claiming there is a lot of pressure on Microsoft to perform after their recent Vista failure. Microsoft is strongly taking the position that they will succeed this time around.

There have been very few details released on what Windows 7 will provide users. The only thing that can be assumed is that Windows 7 will fix the mistakes made in the Vista System, and that like most operating systems one of its aims will be to operate faster and more efficiently. As with all Windows systems, the new Windows 7 will certainly become a standard system around the world as of October.
