Alcatel OneTouch C701/C707 Mobile Phone Review

Alcatel OneTouch C701 and C707 are handsets that measure 89x45.7x22.5 mm and weight wise is only 83 grams. Imagine then the compactness of this incredible piece. It is a flip phone, which very easily fits in the palm of you hand.

In fact, it is so small that the palm of your hand may seem bigger. The only feature that differentiates the C701 and C707 is the front fascia, that’s all. Other than both the phones have the exact same features. More precisely, the C701 and C707 differ very slightly. In terms of the phone’s external finish, the C701 has a very simple and plain finish whereas while selecting the C707, there are four options to choose from.

The player controls that are located on the casing as well are slightly different. The C707 have a traditional and very unsophisticated look to it while the C707 looks more elegant with its small and compact navigation pad.

The colour schemes of these two phones vary a lot. On one hand the C701 comes in just two colours of orange and emerald green and the complete casing is covered in a non-slippery and a soft touch plastic, which makes one feel very nice while holding on to the phone. While on the other hand the C707 can boast of four varied face plates to select from. The final look is that of a glossy one but only at the spines.  The back of the phone has a texture, which has a leathery feeling to it.

The best about this is phone is that although it is very small in size, the keys on this phone are big in size, which makes it absolutely easy to use it. While using this phone, the keys are lit in a very soft and subtle blue colour that does not hurt the eye at all and can be used in any lighting effect. It does not matter if you use it during the day under the bright shining sky or then at night under the starry sky.

The C701 and the C707 come with a 10MB of in built memory that will let you install any kind of applications or then any other personal data but it is always advisable to use a memory card in case you are looking for a more storage capacity. The phonebook lets you store up to 800 entries and of course, the SIM card memory is always there in case you need more storage place for your contacts.
