The futuristic looking Nokia 8310 is an interesting addition to the Nokia stable, and one which is sure to appeal to the masses. Nokia have returned to their original "slab" phone design although subtle changes have given the handset a whole new look. The phone has dimension of 97 mm x 43 mm x 19 mm and weighs in at a very impressive 84g. Battery power offers a useful 400 hours standby with 4 hours talktime.

As with most new phones the Nokia 8310 has an impressive internet connectivity service, which supports the latest browser software. The handset also supports the traditional SMS and MMS messaging formats, which together with the internet service ensure you will be contactable 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Unfortunately this model was released prior to digital camera become standard in Nokia models, and this is something which will effect later sales.

As well as the services mentioned above, the Nokia 8310 also offers the traditional phone book, calendar and alarm functionality to name but a few. While not the most advanced of Nokia phones the Nokia 8310 is a useful entry level phone for those looking to buy their first handset. Practical more than outstanding, Nokia have high hopes for the Nokia 8310.
