LG Aloha Mobile Phone Review

Virgin Mobile USA has announced the release of the LG Aloha Mobile Phone  Handset.  This phone offers many features that only Virgin Mobile and LG Electronics could bring. The phone's front is metallic, while the back is a matte finish, which is very durable.  Coming with the ability to play both animated ringtones and real live music, it also offers basics like voice activated dialling and a speaker-phone.

Not only that, but it also features games which are already loaded into the phone, like Battle Reversi and ZooZoo club. Customers also can pick from a large variety of ringtones, screensavers, other games, and more.  This phone also features a great graphic user interface. So just about anyone can find what they want on this phone and make it their own.

This amazing phone is compact as well.  It is only three and a half inches long by 1.9 inches wide.  The thickness is less than an inch, and its weight is only 2.7 ounces. It has the capability to hold three email addresses, one URL, and five phone numbers for up to one hundred and ninety nine contacts.  The battery has the capacity for 150 hours of standby time and up to 180 minutes of talk time.  The Aloha will be coming to the Internet and store shelves in September, at the very affordable price of $34.99.  It's quite amazing how they can offer something so nice for so little.

But the LG Aloha Mobile Phone Handset is just the beginning.  It marks the beginning of something huge between Virgin Mobile USA and LG Electronics - a partnership. This has come due to Virgin's desire to raise awareness about the plight of homeless and at risk children, and that is known as The Re*Generation.

Another way that Virgin Mobile will be helping the cause is that they have asked different artists to design limited editions of the LG Aloha handset.  They will be put up for for auction and proceeds from the auction and other activities will go towards Virgin's charitable partners. These partners include Children's Health Fund, YouthNoise and StandUp for Kids.

Virgin Mobile believes that the partnership with LG Electronics is going to be a good one, and will only enhance the work that is already being done through their company.  Virgin is already known for their track record for developing phones that work wonderfully, yet are very affordable. They say that it is a winning situation for everyone, but especially their customers.

It will be interesting to see how this new handset is received. It's very user friendly and something that is perfect for a first cell phone, or for someone who may be older and wants something that is simple.  Virgin deserves a lot of credit for what they are doing to offer people affordable cell phones and at the same time striving to help people who are in need and making the world a better place for everyone.
