The PlayStation 2 console and PS3 games have some difference. The PS3 is an advanced version of PS2 and The super fast processing power and superb graphics of PS3 game console has left behind the PS2 in the market competition. The PS2 edition has the advantage that you can copy the game with a normal DVD burner and a home PC. However, the new protected game DVDs are incomprehensible to your normal DVD burner and it has become difficult to apply the same process of copying the game DVD. That is why many people think that to copy and get backups of the game discs is quite impracticable.

Now things have changed and Your usual DVD/CD burner software doesn't work with the copy process of PS3 game. The software is unable to distinguish it. However, don't get dissipated and what you need is a computer with DVD burner and a special kind of PS3 game copying software. Despite of this to backup of the game disc you have to maintain blank DVDs.

Though Burning the PS3 game is mere a child's play, First of all, put the game disc into the DVD burner and create an image of the game. The whole process will necessitate 20-30 minutes and varies from the concerned CPU and the DVD burner speed. Once you got the image just remove the PS3 game disc and insert a blank DVD into the DVD burner to get the image PS3 games on it.
