Nervous Brickdown has many of the same components and attitudes that some other versions of the block-breaking video games have. If you're thinking that the game seems familiar because you've played it before then you are exactly right! Nervous Brickdown is not at all like Breakout or Arkanoid, which are two famous-style block-breaking video games, but the main objective of the game is basically like Breakout. There are several twists scattered throughout the game, though, that Nervous Breakdown puts in there for DS players. First of all, you're allowed to create your own paddle by drawing it with the stylus, which is able to break the blocks as needed. Also, the paddle isn’t restricted to side-to-side movements, but can move in any direction that you control it.

Another cool feature of the game is that it adds multiple other dimensions of the game. For starters, it takes the basic idea of Breakout and turns it into a 3-D style game play by adding dimensions and obstacles throughout the entire game. But there are also awesome levels once you reach beyond level 10. Nintendo DS players have to take a tour through a haunted house in order to save the people in it, as well as another level that deals with a laser beam!

Even though Nervous Brickdown is a basic game for Nintendo DS that isn't too hard to figure out, it still is a whole lot of fun and offers entertainment no matter who you are! Eidos Interactive has definitely developed a great DS game.
