Kodak EasyShare Z885 Digital Camera Review

With the Kodak EasyShare Z885 Digital Camera, you can create high-quality photos while also being able to take advantage of the award-winning Kodak EasyShare software.  This camera is specifically created to still shoot sharp pictures, even when the photo is taken in low light. 

The Kodak EasyShare Z885 Digital Camera is capable of creating great pictures in part because of its “smart features,” which also help make the camera easy to use.  One of these features is the High ISO mode that helps to capture the best details.  It is capable of doing this by providing faster shutter speeds, which means you will be able to capture all of the details of the item you are photographing even in fast action situations or in low light conditions.  

For ease of use, the camera automatically selects from between ISO 80 and ISO 3200 depending on the lighting conditions at the time.  The ISO 6400 and 8000 is also available at 2.2 mega pixel, 2.1 mega pixel, and 1.2 mega pixel setting in the P/M mode.

The Kodak EasyShare Z885 Digital Camera also features a 5X optical zoom lens.  This lens, which is a 36-108 mm equivalent when compared to a 35 mm camera, is capable of capturing crisp details as it gets the photographer closer to the object being photographed.  At the same time, the lens manages to maintain the same level of picture quality.  If the optical lens doesn’t get the photographer close enough, the 5X digital zoom makes it possible to get even closer.

The 8.1 mega pixel sensor on the Kodak EasyShare Z885 Digital Camera is capable of delivering outstanding resolutions for prints up to 76 x 102 cm in size.  In addition, photos can be easily cropped for the highest level of quality.  With seven resolution settings, this digital camera still allows the photographer to choose the one that he or she wishes to use.  The Kodak Color Science technology also makes it possible to capture flesh tones accurately as well as natural details and color.

The Kodak EasyShare Z885 Digital Camera also features digital image stabilization.  This makes it possible to reduce blur that is typically caused when the camera shakes or when the subject moves.  The camera is also capable of minimizing shake in order to create a clearer picture.

With the smart scene mode featured on the Kodak EasyShare Z885 Digital Camera, the photographer can also capture shots using ten different scene modes. These modes include portrait, backlight, night portrait, flower, candle light, close-up, snow/beach, and landscape.  The camera will also default to auto mode if a scene mode is not selected.

The Kodak EasyShare Z885 Digital Camera makes it possible to print bright and detailed photos. It also contains a 6.4 color display that allows the photographer to view the pictures clearly whether indoors or out.  In addition, the auto picture rotation feature allows the photographer to view the photos all right-side-up, whether the photo is shot horizontally or vertically.  When viewed in review mode, the photos may also be magnified up to 8x and the camera has a fast scroll option.
