HP has launched its new Pavilion dv7 laptop as a replacement to the desktop. The reasonably priced laptop offers unbeatable multimedia experience with its high end Centrino 2 technology.
Design
The laptop wears a refined glossy silver look with its sliver keyboard, deck, touch pad and finally a silver HP logo, in the lower right corner of the lid. The laptop offers HP's new "frameless" display with the flush surface providing a better frame for the screen thereby heightening its overall aesthetic appeal.
Features
The comes with the usual Pavilion features like the Altec Lansing stereo speakers, dual headphone jacks, a DVD burner with LightScribe, and an expansion port to connect to an HP docking station along with some high end extras like HDMI port for high-definition video and an eSATA port that's good for hooking up external SATA hard drives.
However, the laptop lacks an important high feature. Integrated Bluetooth and a Blu-ray drive are missing in this laptop.
