Posted by William Anness, 15 December, 2007 15:21:41I just bought my wife an emachine, T3626. It was defective immediately upon setup. In contacting support, I was informed that I needed to open up the case and try to fix it myself. When I informed them that I was uncomfortable with that arrangement, they said that I would have to send it back to the factory for repair. Their disclaimer was, "if it is not a hardware problem, they may not fix the machine". So much for quality of product and their non existent support. I will never buy another, Acer, Gateway, emachine at all, and will no longer frequent Best Buy.
